Devonian Seas – Virtual Reality Experience
In the Devonian Period (416 to 359 million years ago), as plants began to colonise land, there was an explosion of diversity among fish. From their jawless ancestors, fish evolved into thousands of species including armoured Placoderms and the ancestors of modern sharks.
Commencing September 2016, Melbourne Museum presented a unique, prehistoric Virtual Reality experience in their Science and Life Gallery. Almost 3000 visitors to the gallery explored the depths of the Devonian seas and viewed prehistoric life in an ancient, underwater world created by ZERO ONE.
